For the fish curry, rinse the fish fillets, pat dry and divide into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the ingredients for the marinade, pour over the fish and marinate for about 30 minutes. For the curry, roughly dice the onions and sweet potatoes.
Heat the sesame oil and sauté the diced onions until translucent. Add the vegetable soup and coconut milk and cook the sweet potato cubes in it.
After 5 minutes of cooking, add the fish cubes with the marinade and simmer gently for another 5 minutes.
At the end, add the sliced banana and let it get hot. Season with salt and serve the fish curry with pita bread.
