For the peanut buns, cream the butter with sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon and peanut paste until very fluffy. Mix in flour, nuts and baking powder. Fill the mixture into a piping bag and pipe small round doughnuts with a little space between them onto a prepared baking tray.
Press a peanut into the center of the doughnut and let rest for 1 hour. Bake the peanut buns in the preheated oven at 165°C to 175°C for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown on sight.
