Bring the water, sugar and spices to the boil briefly and leave to cool. Add the lemon slices and lemon juice and leave to infuse for a few hours in the refrigerator.
Then simmer the mixture for 30 minutes, stirring constantly, until the liquid has almost evaporated and a nice consistency has been obtained.
Then pour the hot mixture into clean jars and place them at 90 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes about 4-5 glasses á 300 ml
