Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites to snow, stir in the sugar by the spoonful. Fold in yolks and flour alternately.

Spread the mixture on a greased and floured baking tray, sprinkle with aniseed and bake until light yellow.

Cut into 2 cm wide and 8 cm long aniseed sticks while still hot.
