Instructions:

Cut bread into even cubes, toast in fat and keep warm.

Heat the fat in the kettle, sauté the onions and caraway seeds until soft, pour in the soup and add the chives.

Boil down the soup for about 5 minutes, add the bread and cheese cubes just before serving and season.
