Apple and Pear Jam with Cinnamon

Instructions:

Prepare: Rinse pears and apples, drain, quarter, pit, finely chop, weigh.

Prepare: Place fruit in pot. Mix Gelfix 2+1, cinnamon and ground cloves with 2 tbsp of the sugar, then mix with fruits. Let the mixture boil at high temperature while stirring. As soon as the whole bubbles with continuous stirring, add remaining sugar.

Allow to boil again, stirring continuously for at least 1 minute, then remove from heat.

If desired, add pear brandy, skim if necessary. Immediately fill to the brim in prepared glasses, close with twist-off lids, turn to the other side and let stand for 5 min. on the lid.

Tip: Cinnamon gives dishes a wonderfully sweet and spicy note!
