Drizzle rusk with milk. Rinse apples and grate coarsely. Mix half of the sugar and cinnamon into the apples. Mix the eggs, sour cream and the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Now put rusks and apples in layers in a greased jena mold, i.e. bottom rusks then apples, repeated rusks then apples, etc.. Finish with rusk.
Finally, pour the beaten eggs on top and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake at 200 °C. Then cover with butter flakes.
Serve with vanilla sauce.
