Try this delicious cake recipe:

Take a non-stick frying pan, melt the butter with the sugar and add the cornflakes. Stir everything a little bit and then add the whipped cream and the almond leaves. Later you need a little bit of patience, just keep stirring until the amount gets color (ca.10 min) Later you put the brittle mixture in a cake springform pan lined with aluminum foil and press it smooth on the bottom. Use a spoon to draw a small border. Please “do not” put the base in the refrigerator to cool, otherwise it will become soft! Later, prepare the apples peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces for the topping and drizzle with juice of one lemon. In a frying pan, dissolve the jelly and add the apples and the grated lemon peel. The apples should keep their give and still have a tiny bit of bite. If the apples have formed too much liquid, put them in a colander to cool.

Place the apples on the brittle base and spread the whipped cream loosely over them, then sprinkle the finished cake with a little sugar and cinnamon.

Use the white or dark cooking chocolate if you do not want to eat the cake on the spot. Simply spread the melted cooking chocolate very thinly on the base, this will prevent the cake from becoming soggy too quickly.
