Rinse apples, peel and remove core. Grate the apples. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of juice from one lemon and cover with cling film to prevent them from turning brown.

Mix flour with dry yeast. Add fructose, egg, apple juice, cinnamon and oil and stir until the dough comes away from the edges. Fold in grated apple and let dough rise with lid closed for about half an hour.

Knead dough together and roll out. Spread with rosehip jam. Spread almond kernels evenly on top and roll up dough and place in a greased and floured 20 cm ø gugelhupf mold.

Let rise again for 10 min, then bake in heated oven at 180 °C for 50-60 min. Turn out and steam.
