Peel apples, remove core and cut into slices 1 cm thick. In a frying pan melt the butter, pour in the apple slices with sugar and cinnamon and fry on both sides for five min, then cool.

Chop the dried fruit, mix with the honey. Then repeatedly assemble the apple slices with the honey-fruit mixture to form whole apples. Wrap in puff pastry, brush with yolk and sugar, bake at 180 °C for 10 min. Serve warm.
