Try this delicious cake recipe:

Flour in a wide shape.

Germ crumble into a bowl, stir with 1 tbsp. sugar, leave.

Melt fat, add cold milk, 50 g. Add sugar, salt, 1 egg, stir gently with the flour. Add the yeast pre-dough and knead the whole heartily. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 20 min.

Rinse apples. Remove the core and cut the apples into slices about 1/2 cm thick. Sprinkle with juice of one lemon.

Finely chop ginger. Beat remaining eggs, remaining sugar and vanillin sugar until creamy. Fold in lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger, cornstarch and whipped cream.

Knead yeast dough repeatedly and roll out on the greased grease pan of the oven.

Drain apple slices, cover the dough with them. Pour cream glaze on top. Let dough rise repeatedly for 10-15 min. Bake in heated oven (electric oven: 175 °C /gas oven: level 2) for 40-45 min.

Heat apricot jam, sieve and spread on apple slices. Cool the cake and cut it open. Makes about 24 pieces.
