For the apricot-apple jam, quarter the apricots, core and chop the apples, mix with the preserving sugar and leave to marinate for at least 3 hours.

Puree fruit mixture with a hand blender and boil in a large pot for 5 minutes until bubbly, stir in lemon juice. Fill apricot-apple jam into sterile jars and seal immediately.
