Remove peel from asparagus spears, cut ends into pieces, cut tips in half. Break king prawns out of shells. Pull guts.

For the Asian mayo, beat the chili seasoning, coconut paste, mayo, five-spice powder, sesame oil together in a hand mixer.

Roast the asparagus spears in nut oil with the five-spice powder for about 3 min over medium heat.

Season the king prawns with salt and season with pepper and roast in nut oil until translucent.

Season the roasted asparagus spears with sesame oil and arrange on a plate with king prawns. Garnish with plucked cilantro and pour the Asian mayo around.
