Homemade baby food – First complementary food.

For the couscous-carrot-broccoli porridge, cover couscous with an equal amount of boiling water. Cover and let swell for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, loosen with a fork.

Wash the vegetables. Peel and chop the carrot. Break broccoli into small florets and cook together in a pot with a little water over low heat until tender. Drain and collect the cooking water.

Add the vegetables to the couscous and puree with a hand blender. Now stir in the fruit juice and butter or oil. Depending on the desired consistency, add a little more cooking water to the couscous-carrot-broccoli porridge.
