Homemade baby food – First complementary food

To make the zucchini and strawberry porridge, wash the zucchini and cut away the stem and flower end. Cut in half lengthwise, remove any seeds and slice.

Wash and peel the potato and cut into small pieces. Cook together in a little water over low heat until tender. Drain and collect the cooking water. Puree with a hand blender and add some vegetable cooking water, depending on the desired consistency. Now stir in the oil or butter.

If necessary, let the zucchini-potato mash cool down to eating temperature.
