Baby Recipe Carrot Cream with Millet Dumplings

This combination of dairy products, vegetables, cereals and egg contains all what your child needs.

Rinse millet while hot. Boil 150 ml of clear soup in a small saucepan, sprinkle in millet, put lid on and cook on low heat for about 20 min until tender. In the meantime, remove the peel from the carrots, rinse and cut into slices. Remove the skin from the onion, halve it and cut into cubes, sauté in the hot fat. Add the carrots, extinguish with the remaining clear soup. Cook the carrots for about 15 minutes, then add crème fraîche and milk and mash the carrots. Season the soup with a little salt and pepper. Let the millet cool a little, then mix it with flour, egg, a little salt, pepper, nutmeg, coriander and finely chopped parsley. Form small dumplings with 2 teaspoons. Bring salted water to a boil, pour in the dumplings and simmer over mild heat until si float to the top. Heat the soup once more, divide evenly between 2 plates, put the dumplings in.
