Instructions:

For the bacon and onion dumplings, mix all the ingredients together and make a thick dumpling dough (with a spoon or with the dough hook of a mixer).

Form gnocchi from the dough with a spoon (which you dip into hot water with each gnocchi) and put them into boiling salted water. Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes and strain, drain well.

Fry the sliced onion in a little hot oil until light brown, then add the bacon cut into cubes and fry briefly.

Stir the drained dumplings in a little hot fat, spread the onion-bacon mixture over them and serve immediately.
