For the bacon dumplings, finely chop the onion and fry. Cut the bacon into small cubes. Whisk warm milk with eggs, add the bread cubes to the milk and let it steep.

Add bacon cubes, onion, salt, parsley. Add enough flour to make a compact mass. Form dumplings and cook in salted water.

As soon as the bacon dumplings float to the surface, take them out and serve as you like.
