Instructions:

Blanch the endives (scald them briefly with boiling water) and chop coarsely. Cut the bacon into strips and fry in hot butter together with the chopped onions and garlic. Add flour and fry briefly. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Add endive. Stir in the sweet cream and season everything with salt and pepper.
