For the baked Emmentaler, first cut the Emmentaler into slices about 1 cm thick. Sprinkle the slices with bell pepper and paprika powder.

Set up a breading line with one plate each of flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Coat the Emmentaler slices one by one with the breadcrumbs.

Heat enough oil in a pan and fry the Emmentaler until crispy. Before serving, drain the baked Emmentaler on kitchen roll.
