For the banana chocolate cake, cream the butter until soft and separate the eggs. Add the yolks to the butter and beat with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Then add the softened chocolate, as well as the mashed bananas.

Beat the egg whites, sift the flour with the baking powder and fold into the butter mixture alternately with the egg whites. Spread the dough on a baking tray and bake at about 170° C for about 35 minutes. Let cool, spread thinly with warmed jam and coat with glaze.

For the glaze, slowly heat the chocolate with cream (as needed until the desired consistency is reached) and coat the banana chocolate cake with it.
