For the Bavarian caraway roast, score the meat lengthwise and unfold. Rub all over with caraway seeds, pepper and paprika. Season the inside surfaces with salt.

Mix minced meat with ingredients for stuffing and place on meat. Form into a roll and tie tightly.

Heat oil in a roasting pan, brown the meat in it. Pour in some soup. Put the roaster in the oven heated to 200° Celsius and roast for 75 to 90 min. Pour in the rest of the soup little by little.

Peel and halve the onions, clean the peppers and cut them into rings. Add 10 min before the end of roasting time.

Cut the roast into finger-thick slices.

Strain the gravy and serve with the Bavarian caraway roast.
