Heat the butter, sauté the onion cubes in it until light yellow. Add the semolina and roast until golden brown, stirring continuously. Gradually add the beef broth, bring everything to the boil and simmer for about 8-10 minutes at low temperature with the pot open. Season to taste with the spices. Before serving, add the fresh kitchen herbs and the crème fraîche to the soup.
