For the beet and potatoes from the steamer, peel the potatoes and cut into slices about 2-3mm thick. Do the same with the beet.

Arrange both vegetables side by side on the tray of the steamer (tray without holes), drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle the beet additionally with caraway seeds and the potatoes additionally with the sweet red paprika powder. Steam at 90 °C for about 20 minutes.

Serve the beet and potatoes from the steamer as desired as a side dish.
