Try this delicious cake recipe:
(*) For a square cake pan of about 23 cm sides, cream light butter. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. While stirring, add one egg at a time, stirring until fluffy. Fold in lemon zest and juice.
Mix the flour with the baking powder, stir into the egg cream. Pour the mixture into the greased baking pan. Bake in a hot oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. Cool down.
Cut cake into cubes. Melt cake glazes according to package instructions, coat cubes with them. For decoration, cut out motifs from cake remnants, glaze to taste and place on top of cubes and/or use candied oranges, Nonpareilles talers and the like for decoration.
