Instructions:

Remove the fat from the leg of goat, season with salt, season with pepper and fry in olive oil on all sides. Clean the mushrooms with a wet dish, cut them in half and fry them with the leg. Extinguish everything with water/wine, add shallots and steam with closed lid for 75 min. at 200 °C in the oven. This way the temperature is distributed wonderfully, the meat is cooked gently and you get a great sauce.

During the cooking time, gradually add the cheese and the rest of the water and wine. Season the sauce with butter and serve with mashed potatoes and garlic.

Cook the potatoes and garlic, pour the milk-cream mixture, add olive oil and stir to a creamy consistency. Add milk-cream mixture as needed.

Pair with a good red Bordeaux.
