Cut the baguette into narrow slices. Peel the garlic clove, chop it finely and stir it with the olive oil. Place the slices of bread together on a baking tray, drizzle with the garlic oil and roast in the oven heated to 200 °C for 8 to 10 min until golden brown. In the meantime, clean and rinse the zucchini and cut into thin slices. Heat the light butter in a saucepan. Pour in the flour and sweat it through. While stirring, extinguish with the milk. Allow everything to boil briefly. Add the processed cheese to the sauce and stir until it melts. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Form the baguette slices alternately with the zucchini slices in a quiche form (0 26 cm). Spread the cheese sauce evenly over it and sprinkle with the Emmentaler. Bake in the oven heated to 200 °C for 35 min. Sprinkle the gratin with basil leaves before serving.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – these are also characterized by a fresh taste!
