For the cabbage pot, place the meat in one piece in a large baking dish and add the salted water. Pour the cabbage into the dish and place the pears on top.

Add the spices and cook in the closed casserole dish in the oven at 200 °C for about 120 minutes.

To serve, cut the meat into slices, arrange on a deep platter and spread the cabbage and pears on top.
