Instructions:

Mix ingredients and knead into a firm dough.

Shape the dough into long sausages (diameter approx. 5-6cm) and brush with egg yolk.

Bake at 175 °C for half an hour and then cut into slices about 2 cm thick.

Bake again for about 5-10 minutes.

Leave to cool.

Serve with a good “Vinsanto” for dessert.
