Marinate raisins in marc brandy, dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons of lukewarm milk. Then mix flour, egg, egg yolk, remaining milk, lukewarm butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, cinnamon and grated lemon peel well. Incorporate yeast, marinated raisins and pine nuts and let dough rise in a warm place, covered, for 2 hours. If necessary, add a little water or milk to make it even more pliable. Heat enough oil in a deep pan. Form the dough into balls with the help of a tablespoon and fry them until golden brown all over. Lift the fritole out of the fat, drain well and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. Serve lukewarm or cold, as desired.
