Instructions:

Rinse the carp pieces, season with salt and season with pepper. Then prepare a cooking pot for smoking. The most suitable is a high cast-iron cooking pot or a cast-iron roasting pan. Put it on the stove/fire and spread hardwood sawdust evenly on the bottom of the pot. Add 3 juniper berries to the bottom of the pan. On the bottom of the pot put a steam sieve for dumplings, in which the carp is placed.

Cover the cooking pot (or the frying pan) with a lid. The kitchen stove should be turned on, of course (the stove fire has also been burning for a few minutes). After a quarter of an hour, the fish is turned over and given a new ten minutes of smoke.

Then simply serve with horseradish and fresh bread. Delicious

If you really don’t want to do this in your home, you can also safely move the action to your weekend cabin or camping site.

Of course, other types of fish also come into consideration.
