For the cat’s tongues, cream the butter, stir in the powdered sugar and eggs until the mixture is nice and creamy.

Sift the flour and cornflour together and gradually stir into the mixture. Fill the mixture into a piping bag and pipe about 5 – 6 cm long strips onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Leave a little space between them, as they will still spread a little during baking. Bake the cat tongues in the preheated oven at 180° for approx. 8 – 10 minutes until golden brown.
