For the cheese dumplings with fried egg, first cook the dumplings over medium heat in a saucepan until soft. Strain and then mix with the cheese and finely chopped ham.

Add the cup of whipped cream, season to taste and then pour everything into a pan.

Then put the pan in the oven for about 25 minutes at 180°C with circulating air. About 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, fry the fried egg and then place it on the pan.

Garnish the cheese dumplings with fried egg with chives if desired.
