For the cheese dumplings, mix egg with milk, oil and spices, add cheese and flour and mix to a firm dough.

Form dumplings with two coffee spoons and boil in salted water over medium heat for 10 minutes. Roast bacon without fat until crispy.

Arrange the dumplings, sprinkle with bacon, cheese, chives and serve the cheese dumplings garnished with lettuce leaves.
