To make the cherry jam with a dash, wash, remove the stems and pits from the cherries. Together with the half filleted lemon, mix the fruit in a food processor to a fruit pulp.
The pulp is put into an appropriately sized saucepan and mixed well with the preserving sugar. Then bring the mixture to a boil.
After 6 to 9 minutes, you can do the jelly test and then pour the jam into prepared jars generously rinsed with rum.
To cool, turn the jars of cherry jam with shot upside down.
