For the cherry cobbler dessert, drain cherries and reserve the juice. Mix juice with sugar and cornstarch and bring to a boil, boil for about 1 minute. Let cool.

Mix half of the cherry sauce with the curd and pour into 6 small glasses (about 250 ml). The glasses should be about half full. Spread remaining cherry sauce on top and pile the compote cherries as the last layer.

Sprinkle crunchy muesli or popped cereals on top and serve.
