Instructions:

For cherry waffles, mix margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until creamy. Gradually add eggs, mix flour with baking powder and stir in evenly with Rama Cremefine for whipping.

One at a time, in a greased preheated waffle iron, bake waffles on medium heat setting until golden brown. If the waffle iron is not coated, re-grease it before baking each batter.

Dust waffles with confectioners’ sugar after baking.

Drain the sour cherries, collect the juice, mix the cornflour with 3 tablespoons cold water, bring the juice to the boil in a saucepan, stir in the cornflour, bring to the boil again, pour into a bowl and leave to cool. Whip Rama Cremefine until stiff and serve with the sour cherries with the waffles.
