Instructions:

For the chestnut grape muffins, first wash the grapes, pluck them from the stems and pat dry. Have a muffin tray ready and place a paper cup in each well.

Place a baking rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven/superheat to 180 °C. Prepare ingredients and weigh them. Combine flour, cocoa and baking powder and sift through a fine mesh sieve.

Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl. Add oil, milk and eggs. Mix briefly and well with electric hand mixer or food processor.

Finally, briefly fold the chestnut cubes and chocolate into the dough. Divide the batter into individual muffin cups using 2 tablespoons (fill the cups only 2/3 full).

Press 1 grape all the way into the batter in each muffin. Bake the chestnut grape muffins for about 30 minutes. Do the chopstick test. Then let the chestnut-grape muffins cool a bit and turn them out onto a wire rack.

Carefully remove the cooled muffins from the paper cups and sprinkle with powdered sugar to taste and place a piece of chestnut on top.
