For the chicken with tomatoes and thyme, first blanch the tomatoes and remove the skin. Remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Rub off the thyme. Peel and finely chop the onion.

Rinse and dry the chicken pieces. Rub with salt and pepper on all sides.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Heat the oil in a roasting pan and brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Remove and brown the onion. Before doing so, add a little oil if necessary. Add tomatoes and thyme and pour in white wine. Put the chicken pieces back in. Roast in the oven for about 45 minutes. In between, keep basting. If there is not enough liquid, add some chicken or vegetable soup if necessary.

Mix whipped cream with salt and pepper and empty to the chicken. Roast for another 20 minutes so that the sauce thickens. To make the chicken crispier with tomatoes and thyme, you can finish it under the grill sticks for the last 5 minutes.
