Soak the beans for one night.

Remove the peel from the onion and garlic and sauté in hot oil, then increase the temperature, add the mince and stir-fry until it has become crumbly and lost its red color. Season very heartily with salt, pepper and chili seasoning.

Add the tomatoes and finally the beans. Cover with water. Cover and cook for about 120 minutes until the beans are tender.

If desired, grind some of the beans with a blender to make the stew creamy.

Season again before serving – if it seems necessary and popular, add fiery seasoning and sprinkle with fresh kitchen herbs. In addition tastes fresh white bread or simply long grain rice.

Tip: The chili seasoning is very important here. You can buy a herb mixture under the name chili spice or also chili con carne, which is already properly tuned.

The most important ingredient – besides the chili spice – is always cumin. If you love spiciness, you can season with cayenne pepper or crushed chilies according to your own taste.
