Perhaps your new favorite bean dish:

Brown the ground beef with a tiny bit of fat, chop the large onion and sauté with the meat. Chop the tomatoes and add them with liquid, cook well, then add the beans with liquid. Cook at low temperature for about half an hour.

Season with chili powder, salt and freshly ground pepper, sprinkle with finely chopped onion and grated cheese and serve with bread rolls or crackers.
