For the chocolate dream cake, beat the eggs with half of the sugar until foamy, then slowly add the remaining sugar. Carefully stir the flour into the foam mixture.

Mix the cocoa powder with the oil until smooth and then stir into the meringue. Grease the cake springform pan (max. 24 cm diameter, 20 is fine) and fill in the mixture.

Bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes until the cake is cooked when tested with chopsticks. For the cream, boil the whipped cream. Stir in the chopped couverture, as well as the rum. Allow to cool.

Whip the cold cream with a food processor. Cut the cake in half, spread half of the cream on top, spread the other half of the cream on top and all around.

Decorate with chocolate sprinkles.
