For the chocolate pudding with eggnog and vanilla ice cream topping, cut the chocolate into pieces. Mix the cornflour, sugar and 100 ml milk. Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a saucepan.

Add the milk-maizena mixture and simmer gently for about 1 minute. Remove the saucepan from the heat and melt the chocolate in it.

Pour the pudding into 4 glasses, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 4 hours.

About 10 minutes before serving, place the vanilla ice cream in a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle and allow to thaw at room temperature.

Add eggnog to the chocolate pudding just before serving. Take the thawed vanilla ice cream in the piping bag with star nozzle and place decorative dots on the eggnog.

Garnish with brittle.
