For cocoa biscuits, first beat yolks with powdered sugar until thick and fluffy. Stir in cocoa, flour, nuts and cloves. Let the cookie dough rest for 45 minutes.

After approx. 40 minutes, preheat the oven to 200 °C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Form small balls from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake the biscuits in the hot oven for about 15 minutes. Then allow to cool completely.

In the meantime, slowly melt the chocolate coating in a bain-marie. As soon as it is liquid, dip a teaspoon into it and coat the biscuits criss-cross with chocolate coating.

Allow the cocoa balls to dry and store them in an airtight container.
