For the coconut brownies, first break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it with the butter in a heatproof bowl over steam. When both have become liquid together, remove from the flame and let cool slightly.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 19 degrees and line a smaller loaf pan with baking paper. Cream the eggs with the granulated sugar, stirring in the vanilla sugar.

Now fold in the cocoa with the baking powder and then stir in the shredded coconut. Then fold in the chocolate butter mixture and mix everything well.

Pour this mixture into the loaf pan and bake for about 30- 35 minutes. Check again and again with the chopstick tester. Let the coconut brownies cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
