Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into eighths. Put apples, sugar, syrup and juice of one lemon in a saucepan. Simmer everything together at low temperature in a covered saucepan for about ten minutes until apples are soft. Form the apple mixture evenly into a shallow greased gratin dish.

The topping: put the oats, flour, coconut flakes and sugar in a suitable bowl and mix well. Melt the butter and add it. then mix everything together to form a crumble mixture.

spread the crumble mixture evenly over the apples. Place the gratin dish in the preheated oven form and bake at 180 degrees Celsius degrees 25 30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and crisp. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
