Instructions:

1. quickly knead flour with egg, 175 g butter, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 pinch of salt and milk into a smooth dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and leave to cool for at least 2 hours.

Peel, quarter, core and dice the apples. Melt the remaining butter, add vanilla pulp, remaining sugar, raisins and apple cubes, cook for 5-7 minutes until soft, cool.

3. Roll out 2/3 of the dough to a circle of 28 cm ø. Grease and flour a cake springform pan (24 cm ø). Pour in the dough, raise the edge and press it smooth. Prick base a few times, sprinkle with half of the crumbs. 4.

Pour filling on top. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.

Roll out remaining dough to a circle of 24 cm ø, place on top of cake, press smooth all around, prick a few times.

Bake on the lowest rack in a heated oven at 180 °C (gas 2-3, convection oven 160 °C) for 35-40 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from the pan. 6.

Toast the almond slivers until light brown. Melt the jelly, spread it on the edge of the cake and sprinkle with almonds. Serve lukewarm.
