Instructions:

For the cranberry-poppy nut muffins, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Gradually add water, oil and buttermilk.

Mix flour with baking powder and nuts and fold in carefully. Coarsely chop the cranberries and fold in with the poppy seeds.

Divide the batter among muffin cups and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15-22 minutes.

For the glaze of the cranberry-poppy nut muffins: mix the powdered sugar with grenadine and lemon juice and brush the already cool muffins with it.

Finally, sprinkle with chopped cranberries.
