For the creamed lentils with radishes, first soak the lentils overnight. The next day, drain the remaining water. Pour the lentils into an unperforated container. Cover with double the amount of water, add bay leaf and steam at 100 °C for about 60 minutes until soft (the time may vary slightly depending on the variety and age of the lentils). Allow lentils to cool slightly.

Wash and chop the radishes. Mix with the cooked lentils and sour cream.

Season the creamed lentils with radishes with cumin, salt and pepper.
