For the potato gratin, peel potato and cut into 1-2 mm thick slices. In a baking dish, place the potato slices in a flaky manner.

After each layer, sprinkle them with salt and pepper before placing the next layer of potatoes on top.

Melt the processed cheese with milk and cream in a saucepan, stirring constantly, and season with nutmeg and salt.

Pour the processed cheese mixture over the layered potatoes, cover with butter flakes and sprinkle with the grated Gauda.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake in oven preheated to 220 degrees/ hot air for 60 minutes.

Bake the potato gratin without aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes, so that the cheese layer gets nice and crispy.
